After a visit to the village
of Pokharatok in Gorkha, Nepal, by Nell Edwards in
1997 she decided to try and help a nursery class
with 20 children running for two hours a day in a
damp building.
The teacher, Kabita, was going
to run the class for a year. Nell decided to raise
money to provide electricity, fencing and benches
with the thought of setting up the school to run
full time.
The rest as they say, is
history!
